Julia Galloway

IMG_6163.JPG

Julia Galloway is a utilitarian potter and professor from Boston. She works at the University of Montana. She started experimenting with clay and pottery from a very young age. Her work is inspired by everyday nature and objects. She attended the NYS college of Ceramics and Alfred University. She has taught on many occasions and has inspired many artists through her work. I chose to inspire my work off of her because I really like her work and think it is very pretty. I love flowers and my favorite color is blue so her work inspired me.

For my artwork I really wanted to bring out the navy blue and flower aspect of Julia Galloways work. I really think this project shows her art well and i am really happy with how it turned out.
